Award of the Balthasar Neumann Prize 2023 at BAU in Munich
The international architecture prize was awarded in front of a large audience at the BAU trade fair in Munich on April 19, 2023
CampusRO Projektentwicklungs GmbH is the winner of this year's Balthasar Neumann Award. The design is by ACMS Architekten from Wuppertal. This was announced by the sponsors BDB and DBZ Deutsche Bauzeitschrift on April 19, 2023 at the award ceremony during BAU in Munich.
Recognitions received four other projects: The wooden straw building Haus St. Wunibald Benedictine Monastery Plankstetten, Berching by hirner & riehl architekten und stadtplaner, the conversion of a former granary with loading bridge in Hamburg by SEHW Architekten, the district archive Viersen by DGM Architekten and the new entrance building Freilichtmuseum Hagen by Schnoklake Betz Dömer Architekten. A total of 55 projects were submitted for this year's award.
