"COOL IS WHO IS ON TOP!"

The winners of the second German Roof Award "Dachkrone" stood on the stage of the Stadthalle Gütersloh in a flurry of flashbulbs on June 15, 2023, proudly holding up their trophies and prizes to the camera. Around 400 guests, about twice as many participants as last year, enjoyed the relaxed and summery atmosphere in and in front of the Stadthalle Gütersloh.

The magazine dach + holzbau had offered the German roof price roof crown in co-operation with Dachdeckermarkt24 in the past year for the first time out-praised, in order to express appreciation for roofers, building plumbers and carpenter enterprises.

Almost 30 applications were received this year for the second German Roof Award, of which 28 companies were shortlisted. All nominees traveled to Gütersloh for the award ceremony on June 15, 2023. The carpentry firm Miesbacher Holzhaus from Otterfing and the roofing and tinsmith company Hans Martin Bedachungsgesellschaft from Schäftlarn in Upper Bavaria had the longest journey of more than 600 km. The company Miesbacher Holzhaus could be pleased about the 3rd place in the category "Most successful company succession".

"Without you, we would not have safe roofs over our heads." - For Erdal Top, key account manager at Bauverlag and project manager of "Dachkrone", the German Roof Award has become a project close to his heart. In his opening speech before the awards ceremony, he said, addressing the audience, "So many honest friendships have been made with you. You are a cool target group! Without you, we wouldn't have safe roofs over our heads. With the roof crown, we want to bring your achievements to the forefront!"

Numerous cooperation partners have supported the "Dachkrone" 2023 together with Dachdeckermarkt24: the companies Roto Frank Dachsystem-Technologie (DST), BMI Braas, Elexon, Linzmeier Bauelemente, Picard GmH, Halder KG, Smartfox/Kantfuchs24, Zeller Kranservice, Klaas Alu-Kranbau, Bitex Workwear, Masc Bauartikel, Airteam Aerial Intelligence, Familienfreundliche-Arbeitgeber.de and Leister Technologies Deutschland. The partners of the "Dachkrone" provided numerous non-cash prizes and vouchers for the winners.
