German roof award Dachkrone presented for the first time
An exuberant atmosphere, great prizes, and outstanding achievements: the presentation of Germany’s first roof award “Dachkrone” on May 25, 2022, at the Stadthalle Gütersloh center was a complete success.
A total of twelve companies received awards in five categories, but all 30 nominated companies went home with smiling faces after the award ceremony.
The magazine dach+holzbau announced the German roof award “Dachkrone” in cooperation with Dachdeckermarkt24 for the first time last year, to express appreciation for the roofer, building plumber, and carpenter trades. 150 applications were made for the German roof award, 30 of which made it through to the shortlist. All nominated companies traveled to Gütersloh for the award ceremony on May 25. There was an exuberant atmosphere, not only among the award winners but among all the roofers, carpenters, and plumbers who participated. Many of the tradespeople even wore traditional guild clothing to the ceremony to express their pride in their trade and their sense of belonging.
